At the beginning of March, Kingfisher Class embarked on a brilliant one-night residential trip to Kilve, filled with adventure, challenge, and memorable experiences.
The pupils participated in a variety of activities designed to develop teamwork, resilience, and independence. The trip kicked off with exhilarating grass sledging, where pupils zoomed down the grassy slopes, followed by a challenging climbing session. Mrs Ball and Mr Watson were particularly impressed with how the children pushed their limits and celebrated their personal achievements.
After dinner, the class embarked on a night walk, during which the children saved some toads and navigated through a maze, eventually finding their way out. The walk concluded with a delicious hot chocolate while sharing stories from the day.
The next morning, after a few hours of sleep, the children enjoyed a refreshing beach walk where they hunted for fossils and enjoyed an ice cream on the way back.
Overall, the residential trip to Kilve was a fantastic opportunity for Kingfisher Class to develop resilience, build independence, and create lasting memories. The pupils returned home with smiles on their faces and stories to tell, eagerly looking forward to their next adventure.
Thank you so much to Mrs. Ball and Mr. Watson for accompanying the children!
