Ethos Ambassadors and House Captains

Ethos Ambassadors

Two children from key stage one, two from lower key stage 2 and two from upper key stage two are elected by their peers to be an Ethos Ambassador (School Council) – teaching children from an early age about democracy.

A meeting is held once a month between the Ethos Ambassadors and a designated member of staff. This is an opportunity for the children to share their ideas about what they like about our school and what they would like to improve.

Our Ethos Ambassadors for 2025/2026 are:

  • Key Stage One: Aubrey and Oliver
  • Lower Key Stage Two: Samuel and Neve
  • Upper Key Stage Two: Jessica and Teddy

House Captains

At Spaxton, we have 3 houses which are named after the local reservoirs.

The house captains are responsible for encouraging their house to do the best they can. The are also in charge of helping organise house competitions, including Sports Day and the Swimming Gala.

At the end of each term, the house with the most house points gets a special treat from the Headteacher.
